YOUR MID-MICHIGAN MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHER
I want to be your band's rock photographer. I shoot international touring bands at great locations such as the iconic St Andrews Hall in Detroit, the classic Royal Oak Music Theatre and the always popular Intersection in Grand Rapids. Haven't made it to the bigger venues yet? No problem. We all start somewhere and I'm at home at the smaller venues as well.
I travel all over Mid-Michigan shooting some of the most popular bands in heavy metal and Rock. Whether you are looking for live coverage, album covers or a promo shoot, I am your rock photographer.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
My name is Garrin Ball and I'm a heavy metal fanatic. I'm an international music photographer, if you count Canada, specializing in hard rock and heavy metal. I'm based in mid-Michigan giving me easy access to great venues around the state. I enjoy making images in low light, high action environments such as concerts and sports events.
BANDS
I've had the opportunity to shoot such amazing performers as GWAR, Whitechapel, Sabaton, Iced Earth and many more. I'm not afraid of the mosh pits, crowd surfers and sometimes even the viscous spray that comes with shooting legendary heavy metal performers.
SPORTS
If I'm not shooting from the photo pit with a wild screaming crowd behind me, I enjoy being on the sidelines, with a wild screaming crowd behind me. I like shooting for my local teams and supporting the community with great images.
ASSIGNMENTS
I am available for local assignment for editorial work, games and individual portrait assignments. I am also available for international assignments so long as I can get the time off of work and my wife says its ok.

Nothing I like better than a crowd
I can't pass up a cheering crowd. When I'm not photographing rock stars I love to shoot sports. I enjoy shooting for my local communities and always, bring the fans closer to the action. You'll find me shooting volleyball and football most frequently. Whether you're a rock star, or a star athlete, if there are fans cheering for you, I'm your photographer.
